The International Mediation Institute marks its first anniversary. In his speech, Chief Executive John Lee said it has quickly become a trusted intergovernmental body. The number of signatories to the Convention on the International Mediation Institute has risen from 33 initially to 48, while contracting states have increased from 8 to 18. John Lee said the Policy Address proposes measures to support and cooperate with the International Mediation Institute, promoting Hong Kong as a global mediation hub.
