National Day Golden Week visitors to Hong Kong about 160萬 person-trips, mainland visitors 141萬, hotel occupancy 90%

Overall visitors to Hong Kong during the National Day Golden Week totalled about 160萬 person-trips, of which mainland inbound visitors exceeded 141萬 person-trips, and overall hotel occupancy generally reached 90%. The peak day was 1 October, National Day, with about 27萬7千 person-trips of mainland visitors arriving, mostly via Lok Ma Chau Spur Line, followed by the High Speed Rail West Kowloon Station. Over the seven days, about 1140 mainland tour groups visited Hong Kong, involving over 4萬1千 person-trips.
The announcement lists figures including 141萬 person-trips of mainland visitors and hotel occupancy of 90%, and compares with last year's holiday, allowing verification of visitor growth and arrival peaks.
