HSBC Survey: 60 Per Cent of Hong Kong Affluent Investors Have Let Professionals Decide Their Portfolios

An HSBC survey conducted in June 2026 interviewed more than 1,200 affluent and high-net-worth investors in Hong Kong, finding that 60 per cent said they had let financial professionals or institutions decide their investment portfolios. The survey reflects that even with market information readily available, investment decisions do not necessarily become easier as a result.
