'Boats from Guangdong Heading South' Applications Accepted from Today, Cross-Border Procedures Available as Early as 30 Days Before Arrival
'Boats from Guangdong Heading South' will make its maiden voyage on Friday. The Marine Department announced that applications are accepted from today, and yacht owners or captains of Guangdong-registered boats can complete cross-border procedures as early as 30 days before arrival. Hong Kong and mainland online declarations must be completed no later than 30 hours before arrival and 4 hours before leaving mainland waters respectively. The Marine Department has built a real-time yacht monitoring system, along with an electronic business system providing one-stop services for crew and visitors.
The announcement lists item by item the three deadlines for applications and online declarations, allowing boat owners and captains to check the procedures to be completed before arrival and before leaving mainland waters.
