Greater Bay Area trending: company with HKUST ties moves in, plans to use Guangzhou centre to expand into Southeast Asia

Sensia Technology has moved into the Hong Kong-Guangzhou Technology and Industry Innovation Centre (Guangzhou), and plans to use Guangzhou as its industrial base and leverage the centre to expand into Southeast Asian markets. The company was founded by a team with HKUST ties and develops cross-industry robotics technologies, including head-mounted data collection devices, grippers and self-developed robotic arms, converting data such as human hand movements and spatial positions into training data for robots.
