Government mobilises about 150 for cross-departmental wildfire and hill rescue exercise at Lion Rock Country Park

Multiple government departments mobilised about 150 people near Lion Rock Country Park for a cross-departmental wildfire and hill rescue exercise, simulating 25 hikers encountering a wildfire. The Fire Services Department deployed about 90 fire and ambulance personnel, deploying large drones to drop water bombs and using artificial intelligence to analyse wildfires, in preparation for operational deployment during the Chung Yeung Festival, while also urging the public not to leave embers when sweeping graves or hiking.
