[Emily] Ferry service ceases, Lei Yue Mun new pier mulls ideas to attract crowds; seafront renovation costs 270 million, will feature mural photo spots to draw visitors

The Tourism Commission will paint murals on a feature wall beside the public landing facilities at the Lei Yue Mun new pier to add tourism elements and attract visitors. Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Rosanna Law, in a written reply to legislator Yip Pak-leung, acknowledged that passenger volume on the ferry route between Sai Wan Ho and Lei Yue Mun had remained low, and operations had been terminated after the trial period.
