WhatsApp launches new username feature, no need to reveal phone number in chats, see names at a glance and reserve settings tutorial

WhatsApp has launched a dedicated username feature. Once set up, other users do not need to know your phone number when contacting you for the first time, and when you send messages to users or businesses, the recipient cannot see your number. The feature will be rolled out gradually over the coming months this year.
