Primary Healthcare Co-Governance Network Doctors Adjust Consultation Co-Payment From 1 November; Over 80 Per Cent Remain Unchanged

The Health Bureau announced that family doctors participating in the Primary Healthcare Co-Governance Network will adjust consultation co-payments for the screening and treatment stages from 1 November. Of the current 1,239 service points, 1,022, or 82.5 per cent, will keep co-payments unchanged, 28 will lower them and 189 will raise them, while the median treatment-stage co-payment remains at $150. As of 7 October, more than 300,000 members of the public had joined the Co-Governance Network.
