HKICL Alerts Public to Two Counterfeit Websites

Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited has identified two fraudulent websites impersonating its official sites, at fpshktk.sbs and tknewfps.cc, posing as offering Faster Payment System refunds, reporting of unauthorised transactions and online transaction support, and inducing users to provide bank names, account numbers and account holder names. The clearing company clarifies that it has absolutely no connection with these websites, that the genuine official addresses are www.hkicl.com.hk and fps.hkicl.com.hk, and that the public may call 2533 1111 to verify suspicious communications.
