Lo So Shing? No — Yuen Long Wo Hop Tsuen free-roaming dog's head suspected to have been seriously burned; kind neighbours send dog to vet and urge owner to protect dogs and stop free-roaming

"Wong Bo", a free-roaming dog in Wo Hop Tsuen, Yuen Long, suffered serious head injuries. A vet's examination indicated the dog was suspected to have been seriously burned, and human abuse could not be ruled out. Several kind neighbours chipped in to send it for medical treatment. Another free-roaming dog, "Wong Choi", also suffers from a skin disease. Both dogs have now been taken in and cared for by the Hong Kong Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Ordinance carries a maximum fine of $200,000 and 3 years' imprisonment.
