The rebuilt inspection building at Huanggang Port is set to open soon. The building has nine floors, with the fourth floor serving as the arrival hall and the fifth floor as the departure hall, featuring 134 self-service channels and 68 traditional manual counters. The building adopts a warm colour scheme and large glass window design, with its ceiling inspired by the bougainvillea, the city flower of Shenzhen. The floor-to-ceiling windows on the fourth floor offer panoramic views of both Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The building is equipped with facilities including baby care rooms and water dispensers. The Hong Kong port area provides free, registration-free government Wi-Fi that can be connected and used immediately.
