Tang Ping-keung Says Anti-Bid-Rigging Task Force Made Permanent, Will Attend Meetings of Owners of High-Risk Buildings

The government recently announced the formation of a joint task force by the police, the ICAC and the Competition Commission to combat bid-rigging in building maintenance works. Secretary for Security Tang Ping-keung said the task force is a permanent mechanism to ensure intelligence sharing and coordinated action, and will proactively investigate in future, and, under the coordination of the Home Affairs Department, will send officers to attend general meetings of owners' corporations of high-risk target buildings.
