Two pots of soup contained Choi Tin-fung's skull and minced flesh; lead counsel guides jury while urging restraint

Senior Counsel Joyce Chan, leading for the prosecution, guided the jury through case photographs during the Choi Tin-fung trial and urged them to restrain their emotions, so as to show respect for Choi and ensure the defendants received a fair trial; the jury remained calm throughout. The court heard that police found two pots of soup in a unit at Lung Mei Tsuen, containing Choi Tin-fung's skull, shoulders, minced flesh and hair, and that Kwong Kong-chi had rebuked Choi's mother for calling the police.
