Consumer Council to Add Service Centre at Tseung Kwan O Government Offices, Expected to Begin Operations in the Second Half of Next Year

In response to increased usage of its "online complaint handling platform", the Consumer Council will establish a diversified new service centre at the Tseung Kwan O Government Offices, expected to begin operations in the second half of next year. Director General Shum Chiu-fai said the centre was selected for its proximity to the community and an MTR station, making it convenient for elderly consumers and those in need to seek help in person. In addition to handling everyday complaints, the centre will also incorporate functions such as consumer education.
