New Wonggok Port to have no pick-up point for non-fleet app-hailed taxis; Transport Department: fleet taxis can be booked if needed

The new Wonggok Port will open as early as next Monday (12th). The Transport Department announced that the port will not have pick-up points for non-fleet app-hailed taxis, and members of the public and visitors taking app-hailed taxis can only book fleet taxis. The Transport Department said fleet taxis operate at the port on a booking basis and that supporting facilities are in place at the port, but it did not directly respond to the reasons for this design arrangement.
