Chan Ka-pui Writes to Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau and Tourism Board, Hoping to Halt Peak Light and Shadow Project

New People's Party Hong Kong Island West Legislative Council member Chan Ka-pui today wrote to the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau and the Tourism Board, requesting a prudent assessment and consideration of terminating the Tourism Board's light and shadow effect project in the Lugard Road and Harlech Road area on the Peak. After inspecting the site, she said the facilities contrast strongly with the natural landscape and that the supporting works have a serious negative impact on the visual perception of the trail, and she cited members of the public as saying the trail needs more practical basic supporting facilities.
