Tse Chin-wan says public understands importance of waste reduction and recycling; authorities to strengthen 'Green@Community' measures

Secretary for Environment and Ecology Tse Chin-wan said the authorities will strengthen 'Green@Community', adopting 24-hour smart recycling bins and machines to improve convenience, and the mobile app already has 1.2 million users. He said Hong Kong's average PM2.5 level is around 15, making it one of the cities with the best air quality in the country. Hong Kong's first five-year plan sets binding targets for environmental protection, and the authorities are very confident of meeting them.
