New Huanggang Control Point to Feature 7 Franchised Bus Routes and 6 Minibus Routes; Transport Department Urges Public Not to Rush to Use New Control Point Initially

The Transport Department announced the public transport arrangements for the new Huanggang Control Point, which will include 7 franchised bus routes, 6 minibus routes and 5 24-hour short-haul cross-boundary bus routes, and urged the public not to rush to use the new control point for immigration clearance during the initial period of operation. Full-journey fares on franchised buses range from 10.5 to 27.6 dollars, passing through 9 MTR stations and 4 bus interchanges. The department has set up a buffer zone near the control point, with reserve buses able to reach the control point within two minutes to pick up passengers.
