Correctional Services Department Holds Exercise at Pik Uk Correctional Institution Simulating Fire and Mass Riot With Over 150 Participants

The Correctional Services Department held a large-scale response exercise at Pik Uk Correctional Institution, simulating incidents including fights among remand inmates, hostage-taking, a fire, a mass riot and the discovery of explosives. More than 150 personnel took part, including the department's Emergency Response Team and Regional Response Teams, as well as officers from the Police Force and Fire Services Department, aimed at reviewing the department's response capability and cross-departmental coordination in handling emergencies.
