Hang Seng Index Rebounds 158 Points to Close at 23,093, Down 1,093 Points for the Week

The Hang Seng Index recovered the 23,000 level, closing at 23,093, up 158 points or 0.69 per cent, with main board turnover of about $249.8 billion. The tech index rose about 2.1 per cent, with Zhipu and MINIMAX up more than 8 per cent and nearly 17 per cent respectively. For the week, the Hang Seng Index fell 1,093 points or 4.52 per cent, its biggest weekly drop in 4 months.
