David Siegel, co-founder and co-chairman of hedge fund Two Sigma, said companies are conducting extensive experiments on how to apply AI, but it takes time for AI to change how a company operates and then deliver real profit results. He believes that as a new technology, large language models cannot realistically be expected to transform a company's business in the short term.
