Hong Kong New Drug and Device Regulator CMPR Director Li Zili Pledges to Build Global Trust and Drive Innovation

Li Zili, Director of Hong Kong's Centre for Medical Products Regulation (CMPR), pledged to build a fully capable and globally trusted regulator that acts as a catalyst for medical innovation rather than merely a "scaled-down version" of existing overseas models. He noted that many places in Asia, such as the mainland, Singapore and Japan, established regulators long ago, while Hong Kong has its own unique characteristics.
