PCPD conducts compliance review of 24/7 FITNESS to understand security measures for protecting members' privacy

The Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data announced today (the 5th) that it is conducting a compliance review of the chain fitness centre 24/7 FITNESS. This follows the recent discovery of a pinhole camera hidden in the centre's changing room. The Commissioner has requested the relevant organisation to provide information and explain whether the security measures taken afterwards to protect members' personal data privacy are sufficient to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
