Chief Executive to attend National Day flag-raising ceremony and reception

Chief Executive John Lee and senior government officials will attend the flag-raising ceremony and National Day reception on October 1 to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The flag-raising ceremony will be held at Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai at 8am that morning, with no public viewing area set up on site. After the ceremony, the HKSAR Government will hold the National Day reception at the Grand Hall on the third floor of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with John Lee officiating.
