Abby Choi's mother, Cheung Yin-fa, testified at the continued trial in the High Court, saying that after giving birth to two children for the Kwong family, the Kwong family never paid for the grandchildren's upkeep, with expenses borne by the Choi family and reliant on Abby Choi's financial support. She also mentioned that Abby Choi, her husband Alex Tam Fang-chun and her ex-husband Kwong Kwok-chi had attended the same international school, and that Tam's father had successively given Abby Choi about $300 million for investment.
