AFCD survey: most visitors say experience better under Po Pin Chau reservation system

The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department is trialling a reservation system at the Po Pin Chau section of the High Island Reservoir East Dam in Sai Kung. About 1,160 people visited today, and foot traffic along the trail and at the viewing platform was generally smooth. A department questionnaire showed that most visitors felt crowd flow was clearly controlled and the viewing platform was smoother than before. Last night, the three campsites at Ham Tin Wan, Long Ke Wan and Tai Wan had about 190 tents in total, with hygiene and order in good condition.
