Retired Woman Charged with Incitement Says She Posted Words Only After Being Attacked by New-Immigrant Security Guard
貼字被控煽動 退休婦:僅因遭新移民保安襲擊
A retired woman is suspected of posting words including "Expel Mainland Garbage Security Guards, Liberate Hong Kong" on the wall of her flat's main door and has been charged with "publishing or displaying seditious publications with knowledge of the seditious intent". The case began trial yesterday at the West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts. She told National Security Department officers that she had posted the papers only because she had previously been attacked by 1 mainland new-immigrant security guard downstairs. In court, she questioned whether anyone would see the Hong Kong and British flag she had posted on the 31st-floor window, asking rhetorically, "How am I inciting? Inciting the birds?"
