Mabel Chan: Target Is to Increase Hong Kong International Airport Destinations to 240 Within Five Years, Focusing on South America, Central Asia, Africa and the Middle East

Secretary for Transport and Logistics Mabel Chan says the target is to increase Hong Kong International Airport's destinations from about 220 at present to 240 within five years, focusing on markets such as South America, Central Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Hong Kong formally joined the Civil Aviation Administration of China's "trunk-branch connectivity, full-network connection" transit service earlier this week, linking Hangzhou, Wuhan and Hong Kong flights in the first phase, and will later connect overseas destinations such as Australia and Canada.
