Sincere Department Store Central branch to cease operations at end of year; group plans to open new department store at another location in Central and Sheung Wan

Sincere Department Store's branch on Des Voeux Road Central in Central will cease operations around early December, as its lease expires at the end of December and the company has been unable to reach a renewal agreement with the landlord. The group plans to find another location in Central and Sheung Wan to open a new department store, but as of the date of the announcement no suitable premises had been found; in the meantime, it will continue to operate its department store business at the Nathan Road branch in Mong Kok.
