Fortune Tellers on Workplace People-Reading Skills: Yin-Yang and Five Elements Physiognomy Helps with Job Interviews and Mate Selection

Fortune tellers point out that physiognomy is an ancient system combining yin-yang and the five elements to observe people and nature. The left face belongs to yang and represents the external, while the right face belongs to yin and represents the internal; left-right asymmetry reflects a personality prone to contradiction. The five elements divide people into 5 types—metal, wood, water, fire and earth—each suited to different industries, such as metal types being suited to management and finance, and water types to trade and media. However, physiognomy is empirical generalisation and should not be overly relied upon; rather than being superstitious, it is better to cultivate oneself.
