Highways Department to resurface eastbound carriageway of Cheung Tsing Road in late November, with partial lane closures at night

The Highways Department plans to lay a high-performance ultra-thin wearing course on the eastbound carriageway of Cheung Tsing Road in Cheung Sha Wan starting in late November. During construction, one to two lanes will be temporarily closed every night from 9pm to 6am the following morning. The works cover an 800-metre section of concrete pavement from the Butterfly Valley Fresh Water Service Reservoir to Caritas Hospital, where approximately 20 millimetres of new asphalt will be laid. The project is expected to be completed within two weeks, with noisy procedures scheduled as far as possible before 11pm.
