Securities and Futures Commission consultation conclusions strengthen crackdown on new listing misconduct, amendments expected to take effect in first quarter of 2027

The Securities and Futures Commission has published consultation conclusions, strengthening targeted tools under the Securities and Futures (Stock Market Listing) Rules to combat misconduct related to initial public offerings and other corporate misconduct. Subject to the progress of the legislative process, the relevant amendments are expected to take effect in the first quarter of 2027.
