Chow Hin: Fintech Talk but No Clear Grasp of the Big Picture

Chow Hin says Hong Kong's financial authorities, along with senior officials at the Securities and Futures Commission and the exchange, completely fail to understand the market, handing the stock market to the US on a platter, while the younger generation has all switched to trading US stocks. He says the Hong Kong market is now sustained only by southbound funds from mainland investors who are strictly barred from trading US stocks; otherwise Hong Kong stocks would long since have been finished.
