Housing Bureau: Wang Fuk Court Inspection Report May Involve Fire Insurance Claims, Not Appropriate to Release Now

In a reply to Ming Pao's enquiry, the Housing Bureau said the inspection report on Wang Fuk Court is still incomplete, and the overall damage assessment of the 7 affected blocks may involve future discussions with insurers over fire insurance claims, so it is not appropriate to release the report's contents at present. Nearly a year after the Tai Po Wang Fuk Court fire, 13 households have said they do not plan to take part in the government's acquisition scheme.
