Haitong Unitrust Acquired in Partial Offer at 80% Premium by Shanghai SASAC Arm

Shanghai International Group, under the Shanghai Municipal SASAC, has made a partial offer to shareholders of Haitong Unitrust (1905) at a premium of as much as 80 per cent, to acquire about 4.2 billion H shares and domestic shares for a 51 per cent stake, involving up to $9.088 billion.
