MTR to pay government $2.25 billion over high-speed rail Hong Kong section construction delay; no cross-claims over Shatin to Central Link delay

The government announced that MTR will pay it $2.25 billion over construction-stage delays to the high-speed rail Hong Kong section project. As for the Shatin to Central Link works, the government and MTR have agreed not to pursue claims against each other.
