Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited reminds public to beware of two fake Faster Payment System websites

Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited recently identified two fraudulent websites impersonating its official site, tuikuanfpsnew.sbs and tuikuanfpsnew.cfd. The websites masquerade as an online buyer security service, offering refunds and reporting of unauthorised transactions, in an attempt to lure members of the public into submitting copies of their identity cards, telephone numbers and bank account details. The clearing company clarified that it has absolutely no connection with them, and that its genuine official websites are www.hkicl.com.hk and fps.hkicl.com.hk.
