Lam Yat-Sing Promotes Elderly Volunteer Scheme, Suggests Government-Led Time Bank Interoperability Platform

HKU professor Lam Yat-Sing promotes multiple elderly volunteer schemes, believing that elderly people doing volunteer work can develop themselves and foster community mutual aid. He suggests the government take the lead in launching a platform to make the "time banks" piloted by different social welfare organisations interoperable, with the business sector also able to donate rewards, expected to launch on a small scale within this year.
