Housing Authority Paper: First Phase of New Wah Fu Estate to Build 3 Blocks with 1,760 Flats, Expected to Be Occupied in Second Half of 2034

A paper submitted by the Housing Authority to the Southern District Council shows that the first-phase site of New Wah Fu Estate covers about 1.5 hectares and is proposed to build 3 residential blocks of 26 to 48 storeys, providing about 1,760 flats and social welfare facilities, and to conserve and revitalise Wah Fu (I) Shopping Centre. The flats in this phase will rehouse residents of Wah Tsui House and Wah King House under Phase 3 of the redevelopment programme, with occupation expected in the second half of 2034.
