Immigration Department Extends Stay Period for APEC Business Travel Card Holders Visiting Hong Kong to 90 Days

The Immigration Department announced that from 1 November 2026, the visa-free stay period for APEC Business Travel Card holders who have been pre-approved by the Hong Kong SAR will be extended from 60 days to 90 days. Five economies — China, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, the Philippines and Singapore — will relax the limit to 90 days in tandem, with the exact implementation timing to be decided by each economy. Other immigration arrangements remain unchanged.
