Russian Gold Flows to Hong Kong Surge as Deputy Finance Minister Urges Openness and Expects Further Rise

Russia's gold reserves have fallen to a recent low, while Russian gold flowing to Hong Kong has increased severalfold. Russian Deputy Finance Minister Chebeskov said that as long as Hong Kong remains open, he sees no reason why gold trade with Hong Kong would not rise further, and agreed that Western sanctions on Russia have unexpectedly benefited Hong Kong.
