ZA Bank CEO: Confident of maintaining full-year profitability, expansion of non-interest income beginning to bear fruit

ZA Bank chief executive Peter Tung said he was confident of maintaining profitability for the full year. The bank's net profit for the first half rose 44% to $70.61 million, the highest among the 8 digital banks. He said launching products and services helped attract customers to keep their deposits at the bank and lower funding costs, while the expansion of non-interest income such as wealth management was beginning to bear fruit.
