Li Zili, formerly with the US FDA, appointed as Hong Kong Commissioner for Medical Product Regulation

The government has appointed Li Zili, who previously worked at the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), as the Department of Health's Commissioner for Medical Product Regulation, with a three-year term starting on 20 October. The newly established medical product approval body is under the Department of Health, and its role is to accelerate the clinical application of drugs and medical devices, as part of regulatory reform.
