Private Healthcare Providers Back New Fee Transparency Rules as Private Hospitals May Implement Them by August Next Year

Hong Kong private hospitals and clinics have expressed support for the government's proposed fee transparency measures, including publishing annual fee statistics, despite possible increases in operating costs. The healthcare sector said on Friday the measures are "feasible" and "reasonable", with private hospitals possibly implementing them from August next year, according to a document submitted by the Health Bureau.
