John Lee: Local nurses given priority in recruitment; demand persists long-term

Chief Executive John Lee said the government's nurse recruitment policy has always prioritised local talent, and society's demand for nurses exists on a long-term basis. The Hospital Authority still has vacancies, and graduates who apply have a chance of being hired. In the 2025/26 year, more than a quarter of nurse graduates did not apply for Hospital Authority positions.
