Chris Sun: We will try innovative approaches to help address Hong Kong's ageing population

Secretary for Labour and Welfare Chris Sun Yiu-han said the government has not reduced its investment in the social welfare sector, and will try innovative approaches to address Hong Kong's ageing population. In his address at an event, he said the new Policy Address devotes considerable space to matters concerning the social welfare sector, and the government is sparing no effort in investing in elderly care, caring for disadvantaged communities and helping those in need. He also encouraged the social welfare sector to make good use of artificial intelligence, saying he was full of expectations for innovative measures.
