Sun Hung Kai Kau Tau Wai Yuen Long mixed-use project conditionally approved by Town Planning Board, 1,140 flats proposed

The Town Planning Board yesterday conditionally approved the conversion of Sun Hung Kai Properties' (0016) Kau Tau Wai project in Yuen Long to mixed residential and commercial use, which is expected to provide 1,140 flats, with total gross floor area of the project exceeding 850,000 sq ft. The project was originally a commercial development and was changed to a proposed mixed-use development this year, and was once known by the market as the "New Territories version of apm".
