The 10 major new projects planned for launch this quarter involve about 4,189 units in total, with East Kowloon set to become the main battleground. The five large projects in the area involve 2,120 units in total, accounting for about 50 per cent of the units from new projects that may be launched this quarter. The industry expects primary market transactions for the full year to be nearly 20,000, on par with last year.
