UBS's Yan Mei-chi Bullish on Mainland Banks, Expects H-Share PB of Major Banks to Rise

Yan Mei-chi, head of Asia financials research at UBS, said the fundamentals of mainland banks continue to improve, with some major banks' third-quarter profit up 10 per cent year on year, the strongest growth in years. The bank remains bullish on mainland bank stocks in the long term, as there is still room to enhance shareholder returns.
